STATEMENT OF FAITH

 

1. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

2. We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

3. We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a godly life.

4. We believe mankind is saved by grace through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ alone and not by works, righteous living, confirmation, baptism, church membership, or being raised in a Christian home or church.

5. We believe the King James Bible to be the inspired and infallible Word of God and is the only written revelation of God given to mankind.

6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved, resurrected to eternal life. Those who reject Christ's free gift of eternal life, to a resurrection of damnation in the lake of fire.

7. We believe that the moment someone truly accepts Christ's free gift of eternal life, that they are then indwelt by the Holy Spirit and are "born again" (John 3:3) and that this 'New Birth' is essential to salvation. Without the 'New Birth' the person is still dead in their sins and is lost.
